Eating

When do you serve food?

Monday to Thursday, 12.00 to 14.00 and 17.00 to 20.00. Friday and Saturday, 12.00 to 14.00 and 17.00 to 21.00. Sunday, 12.00 to 20.00, straight through.

Do I need to book a table?

It is wise, and on a Sunday we strongly recommend it, especially if you would like a window seat. The Book a table button opens our online booking page with your date, time and party size filled in, or ring 01224 897211.

What comes with the Sunday roast?

Traditional roast beef every Sunday: succulent Aberdeen Angus, roast and mash potatoes, seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. Being in Aberdeen, it has to be served with skirlie. Served 12.00 to 20.00.

Sunday lunch
Can I see the menus and prices before I come?

Yes. All six menus are on the site with every dish and price: the main menu, the lighter lunch menu, the pub menu served in The Cover, the seniors menu, The Wee Captains Menu for children, and desserts and hot drinks.

Do you cater for allergies, vegetarians and vegans?

The menus mark vegetarian (V), vegan (Vegan) and gluten free option (G) dishes, and the soup of the day always has a vegan option. Allergen information is available on request, so please tell your server about any allergies. The kitchen cannot guarantee any dish is nut free. Everything is cooked to order, so allow up to 30 minutes at busy times.

Is there a menu for children?

Yes, The Wee Captains Menu. There is a seniors menu too, and both are on the menus page with prices.
